Swamiye Saranam Ayyappa!

Nallekkavu Ayyappan temple is situated in Chithali of Palakkad district in Kerala. This is a very ancient temple established to protect harvest and bring goodness to people.
Main deity of this glorious temple is Lord Ayyappa - surrounded by lush green paddy fields, tall coconut trees, a beautiful pond with crystal clear water, and wrapped by natural divine breeze. 
Other deities in the temple are of Lord Vishnu, Ganesha, Nagas and Durga devi.
     
It is believed and experienced that offering earnest prayers to deities in this temple gets you his blessings physically, mentally and removes all barriers that hinders the path to success.

A Note on Chithali: Apart from the beautiful temple, lush greeneries, and valleys, this village is also known for its cattle race conducted during Onam Festival.
